Post by schmaltzy on Mon Nov 19, 2007 6:25 pm

ok, the symbols were already introduced but i don't know when can i specifically use those symbols...

the parallelogram (I/O)
the hexagon shaped symbol - preparation...

like,
should:
"prepare work for the day" be placed in the preparation symbol??

thank you...!

ehehe... i don't have my notebook with me..

uhmm.. from memory..

the parallelogram, i think, is the input/output from a process (i'm not sure if that's how it is properly stated)

then the preparation symbol (which is in the shape of a hexagon) is a process of ... preparation...

waha... i don't know if really that helps...

i'm just really confused when are the symbols really supposed to be used... because we had this activity on how the typical daily routine of a Government employee is...

we arranged a set of jumbled actions/procedures... and then used the flow chart...

Okay, I will update this post later.

UPDATE:
here are links for the flowcharting. I wish I could've explained it to you more but I realised that, while reviewing my notes, I've already forgotten it. Laughing

So I'll just post links to helpful sites, k? I appologize for my...lameness.

Oh and if any other member can help shmaltzy with this, please, by all means, do.
